I like how is such a cheerful guy IRL, but is playing a rather closed up character.

If you haven't yet, you should definitely watch the movie "Dog's breakfast". A comedy with David Hewlett (+his sister), Paul McGillion (from SGA) and of course Christopher Judge. Is not a blockbuster, but enjoyable for a stargate fan :)

What "wtf?" It is a movie basically made by the Stargate stars for the Stargate fans and I am recommending it for you to watch :)
