    Somewhere, it should say stuff like file, edit, view, etc. (top of screen with QuickTime)
    Under edit, it should say trim

    If that doesn't work, try opening the file first and then look for the "edit" tab somewhere

    If you have a Mac, then it comes with it. If you have a windows, then i think it's easy to just look them up

    Use Lightworks. Really good editing program. It's kinda hard to understand but it's easy once you get used to it. It's really professional and also free.
