Introduction: Hi there my name is Topaz, I've been a builder for 2 years and a mod for one of those on another server. I'm a Virtual Technology and Design major in my senior year of college specializing in game concepting, 3d graphics, and graphic design. I like to do art commissions and build things and I'm fairly easy to get along with.

Why you should be Architect?: People asked me to try to put in an application so I figured I should at least try it, This is my current building portfolio as it stands, all the things shown were either solo builds or builds I did with groups under my direction.

Weaknesses: I get annoyed when people pull me away from a project a lot. usually this entails 12 year-olds yelling at me to moderate or check something when it isn't my job or place to do so. When annoyed I tend to snap at them though it's never anything bad or bannable.

Conclusion: I feel I would be a good builder/architect to hire on and with my experience I could help add a little bit more style to meepcraft as it stands without making it into an unfamiliar place for the older members.

 

That'd actually be really nice if you wouldn't mind. I'll be away from my computer for vast majority of today but tomorrow I'll try to be on and work on something.

 

thank you for the handful who have given nice constructive criticism and advice on how to progress with this. I really do appreciate the good handful of you who took the time to look over the images and put some thought behind your advice. I know there's a lot of pictures so that probably took a good chunk of time (sorry bout that by the way)

As for the naysayers who say they can do better, Please do so. I challenge you then to post your own builds here so that others may give you advice as they've given me. If anything, the healthy competition may drive you to do even better than you normally do. There's nothing wrong with a little challenge here and there or making a game out of it. After-all Minecraft is a game/hobby not a living :3

 

I actually am in school. I'm going into my senior year in college. I'm off for summer break and am working 2 jobs. My age has nothing to do with my ability to play minecraft with people of different age brackets, it's not like I'm about to log in drunk (I have a rated R server I go to for things like that)

Whether someone is a good builder or not is 100% opinionated. So, if this is accepted, it doesn't mean you have to be accepted as well. Sure, you might like what you build a lot more, but at the end of the day it isn't you deciding who's building for the server. If fuzzlr likes it, then that's all that matters.

As for topaz, the builds are amazing. Regardless of whether their is even a possibility of it being accepted or not, I want you to know you did an amazing job! +1
