you know how hard you had to work to even get helper. now applying in under about a month after your addition to staff for mod??????



monkey, you know I don't hate you. You can be a really nice person, but you know that you have issues with some of the people in the community. They don't like you because of how you were in the past (whilst I was worst in the past and I don't have many problems with people) and it's become a popular activity to gang up on monkey for "how bad of a staff member she is" when she's doing a fine average job. However, average /=/ eligibility for promotion

When you stop being average, I'll take another look at your amplification, but you should have known the flame you have with this community and that this is probably not going to happen for you at this moment.

I feel you aren't at the moderator point yet. you are doing a good job but you don't have enough experience and I still feel like you are new to the staff team. you have the activity and the dedication, I just need to see more out of you in terms of pr skills and how you deal with more severe cases.

As well, the app itself was very very short and lacks a lot of detail on the events prior to your promotion. I feel you could have went way more in depth on your prior apps and could have got a better reaction from people who like to give appropiate respectful responses (unlike @MattIsAPerson ).

Monkey, you're not ready for mod yet.

First of all, the app was... not good. Your why section said nothing about why you should be mod, and most of your helper applications were probably better than this.

Second, you don't have enough knowledge to become a mod. You know the commands pretty good, but you don't know the ban lengths, which is important to becoming mod. You Tempbanned somebody for theft the other day when it was a grief, and then re-Tempbanned them longer than it should be. Also, yesterday, somebody cursed in shout twice, they did it again, and you only gave a 15 minute tempban. I don't want to see a moderator doing that.

Your modreq count is okay, better than some, but could be better. I'd try getting that up just a bit more before applying for mod.

You are really immature in some situations, and I don't want to see you immature in some situations where you need to act like a moderator, and not a helper.

Overall, you are not ready for mod (IMO). You still have a lot of things to work on, and I don't want to see you make the same mistakes you did last time.

I did not like the time spent on this application, but taking the work you do in game into account this is accepted for interview

Introduction​

Hey guys!​

I've written the same intro for awhile, so I’ll keep this part short and sweet. My Name’s Alexia, but you can call me Alex or monkey. Some things I enjoy doing are drawing, sketching, and painting. Also, I attend a few classes, like horse riding, Pikiti Tirsia Kali (a Filipino martial art) and Scottish dance.​

Meep Experience​

I’ve been playing meepcraft for a year and several months now. The thing that really connected me to Meep at first was towny. I remember the first town I joined, legacy. That was my first little house, back when I had no clue what was what. I lived off of the first 2 levels of parkour and TnTrun.​

As many of you know, I was staff once before. since then, I’ve worked on becoming more helpful IG, on forums, and teamspeak. I’ve tried my best to improve on all of my past issues.​

Why should I be moderator?​

I promised to myself that before I applied I’d stay happy as a helper for a good bit and be sure that I was ready for the promotion. I feel like I’ve achieved that goal. Through my activity in several timezones, I’ve had many a chance to use the skills I both remember from my first go and what I’ve picked up along the way.​

I had very little training as soon as I finished my interview. I learned the new commands very easily on the spot, and practiced it, learning from my mistakes and I try to never to make a mistake twice.​

Weaknesses:​

Immaturity: This is something found in everyone and it’s pretty self-explanatory. However, I do know the right times to be mature or when I can have a bit more fun. I understand more about what’s okay and what’s not and what’s more accepted as a staff member and how a staff member represents the server; However, this is something I’m still working on.​

Distractions: It’s very easy to get distracted from a modreq or helping someone, especially when I’m doing multiple things at once or they stop responding and I get easily sidetracked. This is something that will be improved with time and practice.​

Conclusion:​

I have the confidence and dedication to make this promotion worth it. I know how to do the job and I think I do reasonably well at it. I’m active in the community, on the player side and the staff side, and made sure I know both sides well. I hope you feel like I’m ready for this too. Happy holdidays!​

I made this like it should be (which was a pain btw). Like you know, I don't like you as staff, I find you far too immature. -1, helper is okay, but you aren't ready for mod​

 

-1, I think you have some good qualities, but I think at times age and maturity can effect your decision making. At this time, I chose not to consider anything past your application because one is supposed to progress between helper and moderator, by all accounts the moderator application should attempt to be better than the helper one, which has clearly not happened here.

 

I still don't even want you as helper! No way for mod. -50. Look at your helper app for feedback, because other than seeing you make a bigger effort to help, it hasn't changed

 

I don't really see the reason for you wanting to be mod.

To move up in the system, gain more power??

You seem to be doing just fine as helper know, minor mistakes, but I don't really know your past.
Your application was lacking a lot of crucial information; I think you should just stay as helper for a while and do a good job with that position.

You seem to wanting to move up in position so quickly, in other words being staff is staff, show dedications and etc and apply several weeks later.

 

This is a weak application. I don't know how much more I can stress that without becoming unnecessarily mean. It didn't paint a picture in my mind of why I'd want to have you as a moderator rather than as a helper. In conjunction with the small wealth of experience I've had with you on the server, as well as the 0 experience I've had with you on ts, I don't think I know you well enough to even give you a +/-.

Get stuck in in all areas of the community, not just here and there, and put more effort into your next application.

 

-Your app wasn't great and it wad Way to short. If you were to look at this by eye, your 'Why should i be a mod' section is Way to short, especially considering tis is the main section of your app. Im not really sure how those 5 sentances cover everything that you believe makes you ready for mod.

-I don't think you are ready yet. I feel as though you are rushing beween positions. Maybe just hold back a bit and just get to grips with everything. You will do a better job as Mod if you have spent longer as helper, learning the different aspects of everything and getting really confident with it all.

+Your activity is good. I do see you online a lot even with timezones.
