Please, stop replying to this. Limit is to 2 posts per, and I feel you have little if no right to reply to our thoughts on this appeal, You don't understand my relations to angel, same with many of the other posts. We each have our different connections and relationships to angel, which it is not your place to judge us in. Plus, everyone understands the -102, it's what some others have done in this case, and any active forum member would understand, which in this case... You didn't. It doesn't mean I dislike her a lot, it only shows signature.

If you would like to further respond to me, please stop posting on this appeal and create a conversation. This is my second post to the thread, and final.

Please keep in mind; this is a staff application, not a thread for a discussion. Keep your posts to 2 maximum, that is enough to convey your feelings about the applicant in a respectful and mature manner

 

Simply put, staff comment because it is us, staff, who decide who is accepted into staff. My vote will not change in this matter.

Quite honestly, I think you are too new to fully understand the community, game, and the nuances. I'm not sure if at this point you'd be comfortable answering questions about MeepCraft, including all of it's aspects. I think you're a decent person, and would most likely do a good job, when you have maybe at least another month under your belt.

2. I like you, we've have mild contact on teamspeak, but from that you seem mature enough to hold a staff position. App was exceptionally well done too.

Introduction: Hello there! My username is TheAngelEclipse. I am most commonly known as Tae, or Angel, but almost anything is fine by me. Ever since I joined MeepCraft on 11/17/2014, I've also been an active member on the Teamspeak server, forums, and Skype. I'm fairly new to MeepCraft but after talking to many people and sticking around for a while, I have choose here to spend all my wonderful time. I am a fifteen year old female in her Sophmore (10th) year of high school.

I now spend most of my time on Minecraft - but when I'm not busy chatting away on Teamspeak, in-game or working on my builds, I like to spend my free time with my family. I currently live with both my parents, and I have three siblings. A sister who's 22, an older brother; 16, and a younger brother; 13. Shadow and Riley are my two cats, Shadow is 10 years old and Riley is 4 months. I enjoy spending my summers camping in our trailer up north and hanging out with friends. Also, music is a big part of my life; although I don't sing. Once I get out of high school, I currently plan on attending a two year technical college. Doing so would give me a head-start in my career and I would be able to work out on the fields right away. As of this far, I still hold onto my childhood dreams of becoming a veterinarian.

Why you should be Helper/Mod? I started my first real job at a Car Wash, Care & Detail Center back in Mid-October, working retail/customer service; being only 15. I've also had many babysitting jobs growing up, and I aim for my work with other people to be nothing but exceptional. I'm very honest, patient, and when it comes to dedication to getting things done - I really go above and beyond.

I don't have experience staffing on larger servers or with an enormous amount of commands, though I have been Co-Owner and Admin on many smaller servers, most were just starting up from scratch and had little to no members. I have gotten to experiment with a few commands, but I believe it's nothing like here. Although, I am a very fast learner and reach for perfection. If there is something I am not doing quick enough, or well enough, I am always willing to use my excellent problem-solving skills to improve my ways.

Dedication is a huge thing with me, I'm not the kind of person to get Helper on 5 different servers and jump back and forth between them all. In fact, I hardly even play more than 2 servers, MeepCraft being one, and a multi-player/PvP server being the other, for when I need a little something different. Even then I have a clan that I play with and we have mostly scheduled times for big games against other clans - so it wouldn't effect my time here at all. I don't feel capable of nor want to have to balance my time between two servers that are the long-term type as it makes me feel very non-loyal.

I try to be very involved with the community, in the best of ways. I'm never really not on Teamspeak when I'm in game, unless I'm in a Skype call or it's super late at night - to the point I can't talk. Even then, I'll occasionally just mute my mic and type through Teamspeak chat to continue out conversations if something pops up at home. I'll talk in shout/global chat when I see the opportunity to input something constructive or that could put a smile on other users' faces.

If I am in game and not being very active in shout, then you can assume I am either talking in local, messaging someone, or balancing chatting and actually playing the game; such as building on my plot(s). If I were to be accepted onto the staff team, my responsibilities would obviously change and I would be doing more mod-reqs, rather building my house. Anyways, as I said in the beginning of my application; I am very active between the forums, Teamspeak, in-game chat and even Skype.

Self-control is not an issue for me at all, as I am able to see where my input is or is not necessary. In the case of a close friend of mine caught hacking/griefing, whom were to be perma-banned and I did not feel capable of doing it, or if I am dealing with an issue that I get overly stressed about I am very decent about going to others for help.

I treat any and all members with respect; regardless of who they are, and their current or past actions. Everybody is innocent until proven guilty, in my eyes. No matter what - reacting to issues immaturely or irresponsibly can cause you to sever the trust and respect from other members and/or staff. This is something I see as very important and wouldn't do, regardless of whether or not others would look down on me. Treating people disrespectfully, dishonestly or irresponsibly is just not part of my nature.

I love the connections you make with most people while on a staff team. It's right in the name, team. Teamwork and communication is essential - both of which I am very capable of showing. I like to say I'm more of a follower than leader, but I've noticed when I see it fit, I'll gladly jump in and take lead and I proudly do my best to set great examples for others. Being a positive role model to others is something I am always proud to claim the title of.

The reason I want this position is because I am able to see the positive, negative and even neutral side of things. I know my strengths and weaknesses and I enjoy talking to and helping others. Also, having the ability to participate in taking care of modreqs would be a great opportunity to step up and really get more involved with the community. Everything has it's positives and negatives and with my ability to see all different perspectives of issues, I want to help improve this server and better the experience for everybody.

Weaknesses: Trusting others has always been an issue for me, as I try not to be too naive. From experience in working Retail as my first job, I was often lectured on how I need to have more confidence and stop asking so many questions. The thing is, I prefer to take my time to get the job done right - even if that means asking dull questions. Another slight weakness of mine is as stated above, taking control. I understand where my place would be, but sometimes if I feel I have a great idea, I may be a little too persistent to be heard.

A bigger disadvantage would be my lack of knowledge and experience with MeepCraft's history. I have heard bits and pieces of information, but haven't yet had them full out explained to me. I don't feel this should effect whether or not I am ready for staff, because I know I am. The only problem this could cause is my lack of ability to truly understand the grief other players are going through, after loosing large numbers of previous members. I went through this similar effect (not the cause, I will admit.) on two other servers I spent my last two years on though, so I can somewhat relate.

One more thing, as I see on most other applications people point out they are "immature". I'll be honest, I see myself as very mature unless I am in Teamspeak and surrounded by friends whom I know and trust. Aside from this, I tend to use the text emotions quite often in-game. I understand that things can be very easily misinterpreted when you cannot hear the basic factors of verbal communication, such as the tone. It has become a habit of mine to use these to better express myself, and although it can help people better understand what you're trying to say, it can also look childish at times.

Conclusion: Over all, I can promise you that with my dedication, good morals and worth ethic - there is absolutely no reason you have not to trust me on your staff team. All feedback and/or constructive criticism is greatly appreciated and I thank you for taking the time to read over my application!
