    I can choose to be racist, I can choose to be sexist, I can choose to be homophobic. I can, therefore, become racist, become sexist, and become homophobic. I cannot become gay. Therefore, since I can control whether I am homophobic or not, it can be independent from being gay, which is not something I can control.

    Some straight men do not like to be considered as gay because it would hurt chances of hooking up with the opposite sex. So I believe condemning homosexual activity is for young men to subliminally (and offensively) declare, "Since I'm homophobic, therefore I must not be gay."

    I don't care about somebody's sexual preference. Just leave me out of it and we'll have no quarrel. However the second they want to use their sexual preference as a way to get special attention and use it as a double standard, that's when I have a problem.

    So many double standards out these days, Sexism, racism, homophobia and the list goes on.

    Long story short, I don't care. Just leave me out of it.
