Introduction: Hello there. My name is Landon. However, most of you guys call me Land, Lando and Landonator. I am thirteen years old, in eighth grade, and live in the USA.

I love playing sports such as, baseball and basketball. I have played baseball for about seven years/seasons and currently am in my eighth year for basketball.

In school, I take a high school level class, Spanish two. I am on honors classes and get A's and B's on my report card.

Why should you be Helper? Experience: As I have not been a staff member on any minecraft server, I know all the commands and rules by heart. I also know being a staff member takes lots of work, and I know that I am ready to be a staff member. I am also very active and am on for a while each day.

Work Ethic:
In my eyes, I am a hard worker. I try my hardest on everything I do. Even out side of school, I try my hardest on projects and homework.

I try my hardest things in Meepcraft too. I try my hardest to answer any questions asked in shout or ones I get in a message. If someone asks, "How do I make it so mobs can spawn on my plot?" I would say, "Do /plot toggle mobs on the plot you want them to be able to spawn on."

About 2-4 months ago, I built 3 guardian grinders. It takes a lot of work. I did not give up though. I did get a few friends to help with the last one since it was hard. But, I did not give up. I kept working as hard as I could to get them done. I had to build a huge wall around it (I think about 4 plots?), then clear the water and guardian temple, and design the farm, and add water, signs then a kill chamber. I also added cool features to make it better. It would help me as a staff member because if I had a project, or lots of modreqs, I could help do them and I would most likely not leave until I get them done (Unless I have to do something important in real life)

Dedication:
I have been on Meepcraft for about 3 years I believe. I use to play on my brothers account, Ausman10, then I got my own account started having more fun on meepcraft. I sometimes just read the rules sometimes when I am bored. I even have them down in my notes on my phone. The longest time I have played Meepcraft is 13 hours I believe. When I am at home,
I usually go on right when I get him from school. Then during the summer or breaks when I am at my grandparents, I wake up at 8:00 am and play for however long I want to. I do all of this since Meepcraft is such an amazing community. I have a lot of friends on Meepcraft and there are so many things to do. All the work staff members and Meepcraft have done for me, I feel like I need to return the favor and help other Meepcrafters. Everyone has helped me know everything I do now, so now I can help people know everything.

Involvement: I try to be involved in the community as much as possible. I always look at chat and talk to people, join conversations, and answer questions when they are asked. I help people when they do not know something, such as a rule or command. I want to make a change in Meepcraft for the better.

Strong willed: I am (Try to be) correct at everything I do. If someone was banned unfairly, such as griefing or hacking, and the proof the other person provided was insufficient, and I though/knew it was insufficient and they thought it was sufficient, I would convince the other staff member that it is insufficient.

Justification: I know I am ready to be a staff member. I know all the rules and commands on the top of my head. I know I would be a good fit for the staff team.

What are your weaknesses? Maturity: I am not the most mature person on the server. I am working to become more mature. I can be mature at times, but mainly, I am not the most mature person. If I am immature, it may make the staff team look a little bad. But, I have thought of a plan to become more mature. It is to double check what I type before I post it. I will do this to make sure no one would be offended by it.

Strong willed: Sometimes, I may go a little bit to far in an argument. I have been trying to stop arguing in things that aren't worth the time. I usually try to win each argument, and doing that sort of gets me mad. Then I sort of become immature, but before I post or send a message I will double check it.

1) Your incident with Pmx728 shows that you wouldn't be an effective staff member for multiple reasons:
a) You called attention to the wrong details within the video; where there was nothing you called hacks, and vice versa
b) Instead of working toward a mutually beneficial solution to the problem, you made multiple statements (with
nothing backing them up, may I add) that seemed to show that you were extremely anxious to vindicate your report
c) Your interactions with other players, including staff, have been almost entirely negative. In dealing with you, I, along
with many other staff members, found you to be dishonest and impatient, and this is a sentiment echoed within the
general playerbase.

2) I'm still not convinced that you don't hack.

3) Your brash, arrogant demeanor would clash with many personalities within the staff team, and would be counterproductive in dealing with tricky situations. A huge part of being a helper is the ability to listen to both sides of a story, and then making an objective judgement that is fair, and if possible benefits all the parties involved. For example, if someone lost 100k due to a misunderstanding, you might be able to ban someone for 7 days right away, with the refund coming 2 months later, and a full wipe for the perpetrator, or you could simply ask the guy to give the 100k back and settle the dispute right then and right there. I'm not convinced that you would be able to make these decisions that would benefit the server.

4) You have a track record of embarking on projects that have a tangible benefit to you. For example, you built your mega-netherwart farm under the guise of helping players earn free money. However, you made rules that prohibited the use of outside netherwart, forcing players to buy netherwart off you. Additionally, the purse of the farm was really to collect the money received from breaking netherwart. Another example, though not necessarily a project, is with bass_flow's town. You took out a total of about 1 mil from her town as a co-mayor, knowing full well that staff cannot ban for comayors withdrawing town funds. When staff confronted you about this behavior, you simply replied that you would pay it back later, as it was a loan (to my knowledge, you haven't).

Finally, I see a few red flags with this quote.

Firstly, while you did ask if he wanted help or anything, you never admitted that you were actually wrong. In the ban report, you called attention to wrong times in the video, with the wrong evidence. Additionally, if you make a mistake and apologize, you shouldn't say "I apologized! Look, here's proof!" This sentence connotes that your apology lacks sincerity and was merely a formality.

Secondly, what exactly does "Good try " mean in this context? Do you mean: "Good try, you tried to get my app denied, but I refuted your evidence with one declarative statement?" No, these concerns are very legitimate, as this kind of language (and frankly, these kind of beliefs) aren't tolerated within the staff team. Instead of saying "I have changed," prove to us that you have changed. Don't sit there and say it, act it out (and by act it out, I mean something that doesn't scream of desperation, like your refunds). Your attitude in this quote makes it quite clear that no, you have not really changed.

In short, you're frustrating, unpleasant, cocky, kind (hah! no), young (13 is a bit early), obnoxious, and ulterior.

Never leave in the middle of a modreq unless there is someone that can take over the modreq for you.

This is up to the staff members not you lol.

Overall -1 but you have matured a lot and with a few more months and a slightly more thought out application I think you would be great. Good luck 'ol chap.

+been doing a lot of refunds: I appreciate that, but I won't believe this is the "new you" unless you can keep this act up for at least 2 months. Then I might believe it.

-Suborn: When I got banned and proved that I didn't eat the gapple (which was not the part of the vid i was banned for), You kept on saying I did with basically no proof. At a certain point it became obvious that I didn't eat and you were just trying to keep me banned. Also after i got unbanned, you basically did nothing to rectify your mistake and wrong doing.

-Rude: You can be very rude and it doesn't take that much to see that side of you

-Immature: You are very immature and If the staff would like I have many photos of you cussing at me in /msg saying inappropriate things in global and a bunch of immature things.

-Attitude: You act like a total diva. You must be center of attention. You must get every thing you want.

-untrustworthy: I wouldn't trust you with anything tbh.

Also This was found a little less than a month ago, and it is a picture of you disobeying the rules at /pwarp pvp after I asked you not to. Also in the last photo you say in chat "everybody fly." So I banned you from the /pwarp in which you decided to come on your alt appleman.

 

I'm sorry to say, but with the whole incident with Pmx, it made you look worse rather than better at catching a "hacker." If that is how you will be handling other cases, then I'm sorry, I don't think helper is for you.

On the other hand, I found it good that you persevere with your applications.

It hasn't been long since your last app and you have not improved whatsoever. I also haven't seen you hardly on TS or on forums, I have not seen you being helpful, positive, or constructive in shout.

edit: I think it's also worth noting that going through all the refunds doesn't make you a better candidate.

 

Between time time that your last app to this one I've seen zero improvement in you. How do you still have words to write after so many apps? -1
