This is the dumbest thing I've seen all day.

Uh huh, so for the two or three rank sellers we have left, you want to wipe their bal, then expect them to spend more money. The server is already under a funding shortage, so your idea is to drive the remaining rank sellers away?

resetting the server would just kill it faster.

 

this could go either way.

People who worked hard for their towns, ranks and meebles will be very disappointed.

I've always enjoyed restarting games like one of those farm games or like virtual city playground because I know I'm not gonna die, I just like a fresh start.

However, meep is different obviously. what about all those ranks, will they be refunded? what about the legends, do we get legend back? there will be a lot of controversy. some people like fresh starts. some people like the normal. people will probably leave, I sure won't because I would like to see how meep is like.

but I say no reset. for now, anyways.

 

I see the rationale behind this... some towns were build by Ults with fly, higher ranks had an advantage in getting certain items etc. It would level the playing field for everyone but I don't think its worth it given that rank sellers will probably outright quit.

and -1. We do not have the player count nor the resources to do this would completely failing.

 

I totally agree, there would be a huge divide, especially since there are a large number of players that make up the player base currently, which would not want to have a reset.

 

This decision is hard. On one hand it would be great because everyone has a fresh start and the economy my can be done right without any elements of /fix. On the other hand we would lose so much veterans. If we could reset but keep a few items and ranks I would be fine. The only reason I don't want a reset is a few books that bring back lots of nostalgia from 2013
