Introduction: Hiya! I’m EatSomeCheezcake or you can call me Maddy. I’m 13 years old and I am in the 8th grade this year! My favorite subject in school is math. I was going to be tutoring students in math this year but I moved away from where I was tutoring! I am the youngest of 7 kids and I’ve grown up always putting my family first, family has always been very important to me because in the end they’ll almost always be there for you.
As stated above, I joined meepcraft two years ago when I was searching for a server with a nice community. I stuck with the server for most of 2016 because it had the community I was searching for, I’ve always loved how almost everyone in the community is funny and kind. But I left because I got busy with school, I returned in May and hope to stay on for as long as I can. I want to become helper so I can help give people the same great experience that I have had in MeepCraft. I believe that MeepCraft has impacted me in many ways, I’ve learned to be more mature and to think before I speak because of everyone on the server. Overall being a member of MeepCraft has made me a better person, I am grateful for this. I’ve met so many great people on this server and have made so many amazing friends and hope to make more in the coming years.
In my freetime I am on a cheerleading team, I have been with them for about 1 month, for about two years I was on a competitive cheerleading team. They’ve taught me to be confident, trusting and strong and responsible. I remember the first time I met all of them, I was nervous because I knew no-one. I began to fit in as time went on, we all became stronger not because we were all great, but because we worked as a team. I have a few different hobbies but one I focus on is drawing. I like drawing because I can either use it to not focus on the things around me and have fun for a while, or I can use it during class to help me pay attention to what the teacher is saying.

Why should you be Helper? This is a great question, I believe I should be helper for the following reasons:
Responsibility - I am responsible. Tutoring students has taught me to be responsible, I need to make sure the student is staying focused and following what I asked them to do instead of allowing them to fool around. A better example of responsibility is my old town in game that I owned with abbyisnotok. In order for it to be successful you’ll need to be responsible for example, enforcing the rules, or adding several more plots daily and providing some homes to new residents. If someone is not following the rules of the town I will inform them that they are not following the rules instead of allowing them to continue to break them. Also, I need to make money daily so my town can stay up and others can enjoy residing in it. With my real life, cheerleading makes me responsible in which I always show up for practice in time and always to what I’m told to do.
Determination - When I begin a project I am always determined to finish it as soon as possible, even if I do not want to do it. A example of this is doing all of the things we have to do before we can practice stunts/routine during cheer practices, If we get it done quickly with no complaining we can have more time to practice the stunts/routine than if we complained the entire time. An example in-game would be building roads and plots in my town, even though I do not want to do it, I will still try to get it done as soon as I can. This will leave me with more time to do other things.
Patience - I am patient. When assisting new people in my town I know they may not know a lot of the commands for things, as a result of this I show them what command does what without becoming frustrated or angry at them. I learned patience because of tutoring students because you may have to explain things over and over until you find a way that works for teaching that person, because what may work for one person may not work for another.
Involvement - I help people if they are confused, but usually in /msg so the person can clearly see what to do about what they need to do to fix, what was wrong or the command for what they were looking for and so on. Sometimes I try responding to their question but I decide to message them instead in case they did not see it. However, on forums I do not respond on a lot of threads, I read most of them just to see if there's good content here and there. I hope to become more active on forums in the future. Then there’s also discord, which I’m mainly active on all the time. Every time a player joins in we tend to always have a conversation, and it’s nice to get to know them.

What are your weaknesses? Immaturity - Sometimes I can be immature when put with certain players, I have been working on this for quite a while. Though I snap out of it and realize what I am doing wrong, and even though it is not against the rules, it is still immature. I’m working on this by thinking about how this could affect how people view me as well as how I am representing the server. Hopefully with a position I Will be able to help everyone on the server to make it better.. Even if not accepted, I will be mature in game as well as on discord and forums.
Stubborn - I can be very stubborn at times I may come off as rude when I don’t agree with someone even after they’ve given reasons why they believe their idea or situation may be right, I usually decide on something if I am given facts and not opinions. So, I have been working on being more polite in situations, these weaknesses are all things I will continue working on even if I my application for helper is not accepted.
My schedule - While this may not be a weakness with myself, it is still something that may affect my role as staff. My schedule is usually very busy, I have cheer practices and gymnastics all week along with school. I may not be able to get on for as long as I’d like to be on, I’d also have to make sure school is my top priority and to not let my grades drop. I would like the opportunity to be helper so that when I am playing I can always be there for the server. We can always use more helpers on the server. I will do my best to represent Meepcraft, and myself in a professional, mature, and fun way.

Positives: Giving you a staff position could help you gain responsibility and therefore act more mature. Negative: Slippery slope in general, one thing leads to another. Look, you’re a great person and as time goes on you will learn more. No vote from me.

Something that happen right now in discord is what made this my vote. Now, I'm not angry that you gave my snap to someone random, cause I know noah xd. But this concerns me. Even with some things told to you PERSONALLY from other people that are your friends, you leak so much crap about them to us. One event I will recall is Mag's event when you said something very personal about him out in discord that he did not want you do say. And this concerns me a lot. Cause you will most likely leak to those you hang around, such as to Bloody, zamos (which we wouldn't want to happen), or any toxic players you hang around with. The app I will say is nice. But outside the app, you never help anyone in global chat. You only welcome people. Your discord, forums, and server activity are good, but even with this, there are a few staff that log on during the time you log on. Leading to my next question. What can you contribute to the team? In my eyes, I don't see you being able to do anything useful.

Hey Cheezcake
I'll do this the traditional way, starting with the app then I'll get into the other stuff blah blah blah. So first off, I thought the app was pretty good. It hit a lot of points I like to see in an app, including a solid introduction and an effective flow of reasons from your 'why' section. I feel the staff team could use the responsibility, determination, patience, and involvement mentioned in your application. So onto, the weaknesses. I do believe your biggest point up there is immaturity, and I'll address that more below. I was quite immature, and going into staff, I was able to eradicate that problem with the help of my fellow staff members and the skills I acquired. Next, being stubborn. We all can be pretty stubborn at times, I haven't met anyone that isn't. It isn't hard to fix either; you just can practice being more flexible with others' opinions which is also acquired from working with various players and people. And the schedule isn't anything to worry about either, most of us have lives. All in all, I was pretty damn confident with my app, and I'll admit this is probably better than mine, and you're 13 lol. So onto the in game stuff. I do notice you being exceptionally helpful with other players and being involved in the community. I think that you're quite kind to new players and people you interact with, which is obviously something to consider in large part. Anyways, mostly, it looks good in game. The one negative you have is immaturity, and which I can relate to. Going into the staff position, most of my -1s were due to immaturity. After being accepted, I adopted a new sense of ways to interact, and that immaturity magically disappeared, and I'm confident you can be the same. I think people are being too harsh in the comments about immaturity. And discord, yeah I see what people are seeing. No one's perfect, we all say some weird stuff. I'll admit that in the time just before I was staff, I said some inappropriate stuff in teamspeak, and I'm sure the staff was aware I wasn't perfect. We can't be. It's something you can work on. Another thing I can add is that the majority off staff is currently 17 or older. It's vital for a team to have a variety of perspective. I'm sure your young age can add a different view to the team, which is good. Anyways I'm tired of typing so +1.
