You need to enforce rules. You need to overly know the rules. If you are confident in your knowing of the rules you are more confident in punishing someone accordingly. Application is way too far early. Work on what Courtney said. Try again later, maybe. -1

 

There's been to many times I've had to listen to you on teamspeak and bite my tongue to stop from hurting your feelings to the point where you once again threaten to kill me or something similar to this, if you lose your staff position. You'll give multiple warnings without taking actions on your warnings, I've had to call in other staff members to deal with situations where a player on TeamSpeak is breaking a rule and you don't do anything about it but basically threaten to ban them.

You need to learn to properly enforce the rules on TeamSpeak and in game. Using an excuse to why you can't ban or kick them is stupid, even if it takes you a few minutes or if you have to ask how to do it; you are a Helper, you need to be capable of handing out punishments!

Personally I find your thoughts and actions way too young to even consider as a decent helper. You have a lot of learning and growing up to do before I could see you with the Mod tag.

 

Sorry bud, you're a great friend and all. However, you're not really ready for mod. To me, mods are much more rules-based than helpers, whose jobs focus around helping people and doing /modreqs. During your time as helper you've displayed quite a lack of knowledge about punishments and rules, making me believe you wouldn't be able to do your job effectively if you were a mod. Also, in order to be a good staff member, you have to be able to take constructive criticism, something that you haven't displayed yet. I recall an incident where you [should have] kicked someone, didn't, and kept talking in shout. Then when someone angrily remarked that you should kick them (another staff member eventually temped them) you angrily remarked that you shouldn't have, and raged and logged off. This is not really the ideal behavior of a staff member. I have also had to answer questions in Alpha spawn local, and other places in /pm after you failed to answer the player's modreq thoroughly.

-1...At this point you shouldn't work on applying for mod. You should work on not getting demoted from helper.

You do realise that just because everyone -1's doesn't mean you'll get denied, right?
I mean, look at your helper app!

 

I am aware, but I am not ready yet. I want to get better knowledge of bans. That is what I need to work on. I beleive I had a good app, but what is the point of the app if the player isn't ready yet? Maybe next month or when I feel ready I will apply again.

 

Or at least I need to be more assertive.

 

Excuse me for going over my limit, but if you know that you're not ready yet why apply?

I doubt this, although he is not the best staff member, the thoughts and determination behind him are like that of a good staff member.
