Digging Straight Down: A Meep Experiment

As I am doing math homework while glancing at this thread. lmao. Over the week I shall dig a hole straight down to collect some data, unless enough has already been provided.

You make a thread about how people make fun of you and it needs to stop, then you go do stuff like this. Your not right. You don't just ask for pity then be rude to others. Now i see that you deserve all this negative stuff.

A 0,04% chance to even hit mossy cobble, so next time someone complains about being wrongly banned for using X-Ray, just slap this table into their face.

 

Updated doc to include the chance per sample as before it only included the chance per block mined.
per sample is the chance per hole mined
per block mined is just that out of 6.5 million blocks mined this is the probability it will be this block.

 

Sorry for the doublepost but I goofed on the % chance per sample it was way wrong fixed now.

This isn't the first time I had an idea stolen.
Although I like my more scientific approach for digging down, I think the survey should be expanded into not just ores, but also cavities, such as mineshafts, and how many blocks were dug down.
The original point of collecting mining data was to provide more insight into x-ray, by having a final calculated percentage based on digging straight down randomly and stopping only at a cavity or lava. That percentage would allow staff members to deduce if digging straight down was random or not.
One of the mining site's notes even says:
