Each year, my ward does an Easter Breakfast at our church the day before Easter. Usually on a Saturday. This year, they asked all of the families to bring their own candy-filled eggs, 12 eggs per child. Families bring in breakfast foods, like pancakes, orange juice, fruit, etc. The Young Women collect all the candy-filled eggs and scatter them all over the new park's grass area. We used to do it outside the church where all the grass was. There would be eggs hidden in bushes, tree branches where the kids can grab them, rocks, and other places. The leaders there say that each kid gets 10 eggs, and sometimes they usually get lucky and get an extra five eggs.

This year, my family didn't go to the Easter Breakfast, but my parents did give us some eggs in our baskets. I got Minecraft stickers, chocolate, and gum.

Our previous tradition was where we bought an Egg-Dye kit and dyed eggs the night before Easter. We would dip them in the color we wanted, then decorate with stickers or add a bit more color to them. Once we're done, we set them out so that the eggs would be placed in our baskets.
