I think it would be a great idea to elevate the spawn and have a drop down into the extreme wild where PvP is enabled. Currently, you run out about 50 blocks or so and then PvP becomes enabled with no warning. I suggest creating a drop down from the spawn into the PvP area. This will not only make it more obvious to players where PvP begins, but it will also prevent players from backing out of fights by simply running back into the non-PvP spawn zone. I experienced this tonight, first hand, as I watched an interaction between Iatemyfriends and Boombox where Boombox would step into the PvP enabled area, hit Iatemyfriends, and then step back to safety before Iatemyfriends could react. I feel like this will contribute to the "extreme" theme nicely, as it will inadvertently encourage more PvP interaction by discouraging this non-committal behavior.

Eventually, this could even be extended further by providing somewhat a "buffer zone" of super-flat land between the spawn and where building is allowed (say 100 blocks?). This would create an area where PvP could occur on a flat landscape without terrain getting in the way, and would also prevent cobble monsters from being created immediately after the exit of spawn, providing a cleaner look.

There is also another issue alongside this that involves players in god armor camping the spawn and waiting for new players to exit. While this is definitely "extreme", it surely does not encourage a new player to continue playing. I suggest that, for a new player, a temporary PvP protection is implemented. When they enter the extreme wild , a timer (say 30 minutes?) will begin its count down. This will allow said player to venture into the wild safely without being camped.

I have attached an image below to represent the "drop down" that I am suggesting for the spawn. These are both common approaches that I have seen executed on other servers which I feel would greatly benefit Extreme! Please let me know if you would like clarification or if you have any questions!

Side Note: Were these suggestions to be implemented, players would need to be restricted from ender-pearling back into spawn when combat tagged!

I'm with you, I believe we should have a drop down similar to the one in the towns world when we reopened after MeepNetworks. The towns spawn island had a way to leave spawn on every direction. So you wasn't forced to travel in any direction. It was a similar idea to the kitpvp spawn tree house.

I agree with this, it gets pretty annoying really quick when people such as boombox starts fighting you then just runs back to safety when they get low, that’s not how a fight should be, if you’re gonna fight someone then commit to it and don’t run away at every second you get
