Helper Application from ADAM OP

I said "You are a kid lol" Not in caps. The fact you lied about what I said and that you deleted not only your post, but my post too just proves it. You aren't helping yourself and I suggest unless you have something constructive to say you stop responding.

Hey Adam!
I'm sorry but it's a -1 for me here are some reasons,

Maturity, I'm 10 like you but is matured. When you said HA! You said you are a kid too!(something like that), it immediately shows that you are quite not matured yet.

Grammar, when I read your application, I saw many grammar issues. Grammar is a BIG part of being a helper, and also shows maturity.

The application, was not convincing at all, your basically just letting us know about your outside information, which doesn't really matter much. When you said "I haven't been banned in a long time", so have us. That is expected from most people and isn't a big skill. You said you "think" that those are good reasons you should be a helper, you should make sure %110 that those are good reasons.

If you have a ban history then it reduces your chances of becoming a helper. I've seen you be rude before.

Reasons?
- Application was lacking in terms of length and sentence variety. I should be able to expect to read an application as though I'm spreading warm butter across bread. This wasn't warm butter.
- You lied to me. I asked you a few weeks ago if you were going to apply for helper. This was because I saw your activity and effort to help newer players on /shout-/g much more frequent (trying to help and be more active in global chat isn't a bad thing though). When I inquired about it, you shot me down and said no.
- I want to comment on your age and say that it's noticeable that you're the age you are. The vocabulary and grammar that you use in game and in this application proves thus.
- Tmi. This is an acronym that means "2 much info". You gave us information we didn't need to know as in,"over 3 years I donated 500 dollars to mine craft.". Things like that are unnecessary filler. Filler isn't bad when you can manipulate it to be intriguing and enjoyable to read, you did not do so.
- I think your immaturity is showing.

Suggestions for improvement?
- Practice using different sentence lengths. Write a report, essay, or something of the sort on some sort of subject. Not for us of course, but to expand your use of grammar (plus, I think your parents would like that).
- Increase your vocabulary utilization skills. A good way would be to visit http://dictionary.reference.com. They provide a "Word of the Day", which can be useful in increasing your vocabulary.
- Typing speed. A suggestion to improve your typing speed is to visit http://10fastfingers.com and do the "Typing Test".
- Look into the list of commands for towny and what they do before you apply again. This will help tremendously when trying to assist people.
- Try to increase your maturity. A simple way to do so is to take a good look at what you want to communicate before you communicate it. Not saying you can't be immature at times for good fun, but there's a time for that and not.

There's other things I could discuss and suggest, but I would be making your application look small. Plus, a lot of other reasons that I would be talking about have been brought up by other people.

I'll be giving you a -1 for the following reasons.

To me (and others) you are very immature. Try think before you do anything immature.

You say you aren't really rude then you say you don't think. Kinda confuses me. There can't be any rude staff members, you are setting the expectations for the community.

Before you apply try to learn about all the aspects of the server especially ts. If you are staff, you are gonna use ts for staff meetings, interviews and general bonding so you want to know how to use it.

Also your application was short. Add more in the why, this is the big part where we want to see why you really want staff.
So my suggestions are to work on maturity, longer application and general helping around the server.

Think about your actions before you do something... Ask yourself: Will it improve my reputation? Any signs of showing immaturity?
