When did you join Meepcraft? Not sure of the exact date. I bought Premium on April 25th, 2012; but I started awhile before that.
Introduction: Hi guys!
Hopefully a lot of you know me by now. My name is Michaela and I play as ImNotBlonde. As many of you know, I have been staff before. To be completely honest, I have probably spent about 80% of the time I've had on Meepcraft as staff. I originally joined Meep in the first few days of April 2012, and then became a moderator about a month later in May 2012. After my initial position as a trial mod, I became a Moderator for 8 months before my promotion to Super Mod. After 3 or 4 more months of being a Super Mod, my real life caught up to me a bit. I quit due to different priorities becoming more relevant to my life and my future. That being said, I have served as a Moderator three (yes, three) other times after my initial introduction into staff. I served as staff on Old Meep, "The Golden Age", right before MeepNetworks (during the first spawn change), and during MeepNetworks. Needless to say, I have been with this server through a lot- and that's something I continue to uphold. I've also served as the Social Representative of Meepcraft, which I enjoyed a lot as well.
Now that you might have a better idea of who I am as a player, I'll tell you a little bit about me personally. I'm going to Arizona State University this Fall and I'm studying Performance. I play guitar and piano; I take dance classes in tap, jazz, and ballet; and I participate in both contemporary and music theatre voice lessons and music theory. I currently have a job as a Sales Associate at Bath & Body Works, which I absolutely love, but will have to quit soon since I am moving states for college. I also played competitive club soccer for 10 years, and Park & Rec. soccer simultaneously for 5. I am an ice skater and have won Colorado Gold for my division twice, and the Silver once. Although I no longer compete, this is still a big love of mine. I like to get involved in a lot of different things and I have a large variety of interests. I enjoy photography, writing, and reading as well (look up David Foster Wallace). I volunteer as a coach for children in beginners' ice skating and at a couple of my local elementary schools. I've also done set construction 8 hours a week for 6 months each year over the duration of my 4 years in high school. Living in Colorado, I've acquired a tremendous love for hiking mountains and finding new adventures. So that's just a little (or maybe a little too much) about my personal life.
Why should you be Helper? There are quite a few reasons I have decided to finally apply to join the staff team again. For one, I've noticed that the current staff appears to be a great group of people with different talents. One of the times I quit staff was due to the corruption I felt the team had. I remember making a huge thread on forums (the old forums) once I became citizen about how the overuse of power on the side of the staff team was driving players away and creating an unfair environment for a lot of people. I didn't really want to be a part of that or stick around during that period, so I did leave. Seeing the way the server is run now, I can tell that's not an issue.
I think that my experience in MeepCraft's history has given me a lot of tools that I can't forget. I know a huge problem throughout different people of power has been the abuse of that power. I think it's important for you all to know that I have never abused my power or been demoted. I have been entrusted with OP multiple times and have built parts of old Spawn, Spleef, Spleef Spawn, Hunger Games lobby, and much more (not the current ones though). As a supermod I had creative just about everywhere- definitely in the Wild and Towns world, and I am pretty sure in Spawn as well. Throughout all of my time on Meepcraft I have never abused the trust given to me by the community and those above me to hurt other players, the economy, or the server. This goes with when I served as the Social Representative- I never painted Meepcraft in any kind of negative light nor fell short of my responsibilities.
In my time as staff I have completely many, many thousands of Modreqs. I'm sure this might sound like a broken record, but I did serve while there were 1000 people on at a time. Back then, we had the same number of staff. That meant that every moderator had to learn to become masters with commands and efficiency when it came to completing requests. It's been awhile, but I know that's still something that is one of my best skills. I have also always been able to find hackers, dupers, and griefers pretty quickly. I think that my lifestyle off of the Internet has contributed hugely to my ability to multitask, and it translates well to Minecraft.
What has changed me this time from my last few staff experiences has probably been my increase in community service and job experience. I work with Elementary schoolers and hold a position at work that is almost entirely about Customer Service. This real world experience has made me much better at being patient, understanding, and quick to resolve situations.
There have been many times in which I'll be online and there will only be one staff member there. I think that can be a little bit too much for one person to handle monitoring chat, completing Modreqs, and doing the every day things that staff members do by his or herself. I know that I could make it much easier on those staff members by taking a load off of what they're doing at those times.
I have owned towns before and currently live in one in alpha and one in beta. Because of this I know almost all towny commands. I also own an island on Skyblock which I just became involved with about a month ago and I have been expanding my knowledge of all the different mini games. I think it's important to continue introducing players to all the different actives we offer so that their interest does not wain.
One of the most important things that I have currently been doing is making sure that every day I warp to the tutorial at least once or twice to guide new players through the MeepCraft experience. I know that a lot of new players get confused with the long book of rules and don't really know how to build a foundation in the game. I usually tend to give new players wood, iron tools, chain or gold armor, and food. Then I proceed to take them to the Wild, help them find resources, and then help them find Towns. I think this is really important to improving the player base and I feel as though it would be much easier for me to complete this process more quickly with a Helper title next to my name to reassure new players that they can trust me.
What are your weaknesses? First off, I am positively horrible at PVP and Parkour. It's embarrassing and it's sad, and I would dishonor a staff title with my KDR. On a more serious note, I think it's pretty obvious that I have a history of trolling. I joke around a lot, but I have never made those jokes at the expense of other players. I realize that when people see someone as a staff member, that person becomes a role model to others. This is something I take very seriously. I understand that it requires a different mindset and attitude to be on staff than it does to be a regular player. I also have heard staff talking on forums about Prism. I don't really know what that is, or if it's just another name for some of the stuff I've already done. Hopefully I will be able to figure that out quickly, but right now I am pretty uneducated about what that entails.
Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: Well... If you aren't already asleep from how much I wrote.... Thank you for bearing with me! I woke up at 5:00 am to get more pain medication since I got my wisdom teeth out yesterday, and then just felt really strongly that I needed to do this.
On a side note: I was asked about the possibility of being Meep's social representative today for Facebook and Twitter, possibly Youtube and Instagram as it progresses.
I understand if I can only do one or the other- they are both great opportunities and I would love to help current players as a Helper equally to how much I'd love to bring in new players as a Social Rep.
I really look forward to reading all of your suggestions, (constructive) criticism, and thoughts.

@JETUB1 and @Dat_Coffee . This isnt your personal argument thread. Take it to message.
I havnt had to many encounters with you, but the ones we have had are very nice. My only issue is that you sometimes like to troll which will be a HUGE problem if youre staff. That entire "Fuzzlr accident" thing would not fly if you were to represent the server. Aside from that youre very nice and have very good relationships with a lot of the players. That also makes me question if youll have the ability to ban a known troublemaker that youre friends with.
Those minor things aside, I think you have great potiential and youre very sweet from the bit of time ive spent with you.

The purpose of posting on staff applications is to get feedback from the community. Each person is allowed two posts on an application leaving them one post for a comment and one for a response to the applicants comment."
Please stop breaking the forum rules just to continue trying to attack me. I have no reason to lie about this, and you were not there.Lady_Hestia, Muunkee-Alexia, legendcaleb and 3 others like this. -

After.. sitting in a channel for awhile, I have changed my vote +1
But please remember if you get accepted, trolling is not needed. you can joke around but keep it clean and safe because players can take it the wrong way.Paaaauuuullll, Bob4444444, cooey and 2 others like this. -

I don't post on applications for staff positions much anymore, since I've been desiring to be a curator for the architect application side of things, but when I do, it's because it's an exception. +1
Reasons?
- I don't know you personally, and you don't know me personally. But that doesn't mean that I can't see that you've matured over the time I've been here on the server. We used to be colleagues on the staff team, and like you said on your application here, you were quite the troll. But as time progressed, it seemed that you became more aware of your words and became smarter with using such words, which caused certain jokes to be funnier, and caused a clearer understanding of what you desired to communicate. This skill that you've picked up on, of being able to communicate things well, has proved to be fruitful to you, and I hope it continues to be.
- Your application was splendid. Like you said beforehand, funnily enough, you told us that you possibly included too much information about yourself. Well, that shows that you're open to the community, and people could see that "tmi" as instead, a connection (Or they could just think it's tmi). A connection to know who they are agreeing in collective to hire for the position. And in my opinion, you gave slightly more information than needed, but it gave more character to the application as a whole.
- Stories. You explained to us how you help assist people, and I found that very interesting. All I've really done to help new members lately has been to help them with a command or two in global chat. But you, you discussed with us that you go way beyond that. You devote time to strangers to see out that they have an enjoyable time and are set for an enjoyable future on the server. That's enough for me to give you a +1.
- Past experience. With your past experience you shared in your application, it's pretty easy to see that you know what you're doing. I don't know how you survived through MN.
- A smart not blonde? You got my vote. I don't know what the hell I was saying here, but I'm leaving it, lol.
Suggestions?
- Just keep going down the road you're going on right now, it seems to be serving you well. Good luck.
- Being a member of Clockwork, I should know a lot about P.V.P.. If you don't know already, that stands for Player Versus Player. WRONG! It actually stands for Percy1234 Versus Pimpkachu, the ultimate battle of the ages. The clash of titans, and when I came to the point where I didn't know what else to write.
