Helper Application

Yes, you see me alot because i am active on Meepcraft. and i talk in shout most of the time unless my internet is down or i am doing modreqs.

I would like to see you help/talk more in chat.

Lastly this concerns me "I want to try and help and become a Helper again because it was a great opportunity that I messed up by getting bored on Meep. " We need staff who don't get bored of their job.

 

I got bored of MeepCraft, not being a staff. On Meep there were really no good games. I stopped playing a mainly because all I got all day from a staff 'Get on to or Get on Skype' but I don't think you guys belived me...

 

It's not spamming the thread, it's a valid discussion of the validity of your staff work. If you can't understand that you guys were only having a simple conservation... that's kind of silly.

Anyway, I don't know how I feel about you...

I feel like you are telling us two different stories and you aren't even sure about what's going on.

Okay thanks guys, Dancing: The story was about me not liking MeepCraft because of there really bring nothing other than boring games and staff telling me to do something I couldn't. At that point I became inactive and immature and I feel I should not have done that now.

I think if you want to be staff you want to do well. Though you weren't the best staff last time you say you'll do better and I believe and respect that. The inactivity is most likely due to the fact you don't get to help others.

Here's how I read this "I'm getting too bored with the other things I've been doing, so I wanna try for helper because it will give me something to do." Last time, your being "bored" got you demoted. How do we know that you aren't going to get bored again in the near future and just resign again? Staff is a commitment, you don't just join because you want something to do other than play games on your iPhone. The fact that you included this alone is a reason to -1 you, but I'll discuss some other points of why it's a -1 from me

Besides the fact that you act immature at many times I've seen, which is NOT a quality of a good staff member, you've been extremely unhelpful and inactive in /shout. I know it's not TZ, because we're in the same one and I'm on quite a bit. This makes me think that the phone games and other servers you've been spending time on are dictating your minecraft time, and that you haven't actually come back to meep yet. Essentially I think you're just doing this because you want the pretty little tag next to your name or something to pass the time, not because you actually want to help people.

Read everyone else's comments, reflect on them, and when if this is denied, try again in 2 weeks after you've made some noticeable inprovment.

You're basically saying you don't like a good portion of the server. Why be staff on a server you don't like? Oh yeah, because you want the popularity and respect that comes with it. You've got to earn respect to get it. Staff are going to tell you to do things, that's why they're called your superiors. Because they can go over your head and tell you to do things. If you can't do it, explain it to them, rather than letting it be a reason to leave. You're still inactive, and you're still immature, so if you feel like you shouldn't have done it why haven't you fixed any of that yet? It just doesn't make sense to me that you'd regret something that you can always change and not change it. This reemphasizes my point that I don't think you want to help, just want something more to do.

+1 Your mod application was wonderful, and you've been nothing less than really really helpful even without being a helper to me.

 

High, your a cool dude, just not right for staff. I haven't seen you online very often and you dont help in shout at all from what I've seen. No one ever needed helper to help people, it's very easy to just help people in shout. Baby steps. So before +1ing thing! I wanna see you making a commitment to helping, and not only with staff perms. Helper only comes to those who prove them self willing to help, and with a good knowledge of what you're doing, and frankly I don't see you being willing to help.

When I started creating my town I said in/shout I needed help with towny commads than instantly highlanders3ruth /msg me he told me the commands for putting a plot for sale for claiming town land and how to set tax and all that other stuff so therefore my vote is a +1

 

-1 You do shout alot and help somewhat when you are on, but I hardly see you on. I feel like you are power hungry and just want the staff tag as a title. You never did to many modreqs and hopefully that would change if accepted. Immaturity is another issue. When you started as staff you were very mature, but I feel like you have lost that.

 

Yes, I was trying to be mature but once demoted I didnt think I would apply so I lost it. Im now trying to help and be more mature.

 

+1 your cool and your my friend and I think you would be good for staff. I've seen you play a lot but all I can say is that I don't really see you a lot so it would be nice to see you on. Besides that I think you would make a great helper! Good luck!

Highlander, being bored on meepcraft is like being bored with the job as a staff. Also as staff you need to be up to date with everything that happens in skype (how i get my info from other staff when i am at work all day)

If you hated how staff wanted you on skype or TS. I see no reason why u should be staff. You have lost alot of maturity during the time you started to drift away from the staff team even after you were demoted you became more immature.

The meaning Helper: "A relatively unskilled worker who assists a skilled worker usually by manual labor."
This means by doing modreqs, we are helping the Higher staff keep the server going. Modreqs are a Key job for helper if you are on as helper you must do modreqs to show you care about this server, by Not doing them when you were 1st hired as a helper shows the staff that you can not handle this job.

Don't want to get to argumentative but I have said it, my Skype doesn't work and the computer I have Teamspeak on is getting fixed. Also I did realize I put to much negativity into this application. I am trying to work on my maturity and helping in-game.
