Your application could have been better, but you got the most important stuff in there... and I'm a +1. You're very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about the server. You do have moments of immaturity, but I don't think it's a huge problem, especially considering your age. As far as rudeness, I've seen a little bit, but it's a great sign that you recognize the mistakes you've made and are working to fix them. Continue to do that, and I think you'd do well as staff!
