- without working straight at a generator, working straight at a mine where you have to use your left hand to control movement instead of using it do play on your ipad or stuff

lava=obsidian,
obsidian=gold farm, and island level increase
gold farm=gold blocks, and island level increase
island level increase= /is top filled with alot of levels
/is top filled with alot of levels= /is top being useless since "ores" are "rare" or, rly common...

that isnt a major part of it, the COBBLE and ISLAND LEVEL is m8...

and I have ALOT of questions to ask and argue with...

If you want mines, ask Fuzzlr to add Prison.

 

I don't see "skyblock + mines" as that different than "towny + the wild". Not sure there would be a point to a sb server.

I really don't play sb for mining -- I could do tons of that in the wild if I wanted. I very much play it for building. I haven't played Prison, but that's because I like skyblock. For me, the basic proposition of skyblock is building a lot from very little.

No, but seriously. I complain about Parkour being ignored all the time, Skyblock was even worse off when I still played it half a year ago. It barely had any updates and was terribly broken. When an update eventually came, it usually made things even worse.

Haven't stepped into SB since the new update, so I am not sure how it's doing nowadays, anywas... regarding your suggestion, I am a -1.
Doesn't feel quite right to go to a mine in SB, no matter how "harmless" it might seem. Yes, I did read the whole of your presentation and I appreciate the effort you put into it, but I just don't like the suggestion.

- "Small amounts of Meeble rewards can be offered per mob killed" - I can already see a lot of people camping the mine, who don't even play/plan on playing SB, just for the Meebles.
- "Ores spawn randomly" - NO! What is the point of challenges if you can get a rare ore randomly in a warp?
- Last time I checked, you could get Andesite, Diorite and Granite with certain types of cobble generators. Might have been changed with the big update a couple months ago.
- "Skyblock is boring". No it's not. Skyblock is meant to be challenging. Honestly? Adding a mine to take the easy way out seems like a way to make it more boring. Why not make a /warp treefarm and while we are at it a /warp animals?
- I don't know how exactly this would be "Attractive to new players". Personally, I would be disappointed to find out, that I am playing a devalued version of SB.
- "Incites new interest in older players" - Nah, it would just --- them off.


The only positive I see in this, is a new way to attract donators... so it will probably pass.

 

... I don't want be one of ~those~ people, but I do play skyblock. I think these mines should be incorporated, but not as many. Maybe just a beginning mine. Probably should've clarified that earlier... oh well!

 

Look how i got to island level 80K before the skyblock reset without mines. Just saying...

Also before people get the wrong idea of my message. I do like that something new for skyblock is suggested. to many people complain about "no challenge" with most of this. but who says you HAVE to use that? you want a challenge make a goddamm challenge for yourself already.

 

-1, Defeats the purpose of skyblock. Though, this could be added as another server for players to play on. I would not recommend this to be a replacement for skyblock though.

 

Denied! This would destroy the skyblock economy!
