They are most likely doing at least one modreq in the background or at the very least /msging the player instead of adding to shout spam with something that'll most likely be drowned out anyways.

How can I ever thank you enough for all the support and concern, you guys are the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me!

Honestly I haven't really seen you do anything. I've seen immaturity, and a lack of helping.
I also haven't seen you at all past weekish.

Anyways, +1. You seem like a great guy, you're always helpful, and you can deal with people who are rude to you. I've seen a bit of rudeness, but not enough to make me concerned.
Good luck!N_G_23, chaos546, GroovyGrevous and 2 others like this. -
+1, did great as a helper. You understand your job is to help new players, not going around banning people. Need more of you.

Introduction: Hi meepers, most of you already know me by my ign ThatFrenchGuy yet you can call me French, Frenchie or TFG. For those who don't know me: my real name is Anas, a French-Moroccan guy from Saint-Étienne in central France. I am a computer engineering student at University Jean Monnet, my 4th year after Baccalaureate, and 1st year preparing my Master in Automation and industrial computing Specialty Networks and intelligent instrumentation for automated systems.
Also, I am a big fan of video games and specially Ubisoft games as Assassin's Creed is my favorite series of game (quite common for a French guy supporting French companies, isn't it?).
Why you should be Mod? Why should I be a Moderator? I have got as much reasons as needs into becoming a Mod.
First, I've been Helper for few weeks which gave me the opportunity to deal with kind of every case a staff member will meet when completing his mission. If we're talking about the helper person, I tried to give my hand to every player who asked for it whether with commands, money or actions like building, fixing, etc.. If we're talking about the helper who chases the bad guys in the server I would say that along my experience in staff team I met and solved luring, scamming, grieving, hacking and all the other cases. I'm not a person who likes banning people so I always try to fix the issue when it's minor and can be fixed otherwise I banned lots of players and I remember issuing a temporary ban in my first modreq ever.
I learned and still learn from other staff members, and whenever I can I ask for their help, see how they deal with their cases when I'm free and I try to always keep trace of what's happening on forums. I don't comment on every post but I am always here to watch and learn more about people. which helps me make an image of the person I'm having in front of me in game.
I've never used Hawk Eye as it was an old staff plugin, but I got to admit my admiration for Prism, it helps you a lot if you know how to use it and now, I feel more comfortable exploiting it's commands.
Since I became helper, I, first sold my town in Alpha (Eureka) to focus more on learning and dealing with modreqs, and two weeks after getting used to the job, I started a new town called Paris (where I'm now building a big town's spawn that looks like The Eiffel tower). Of course this would demand lots of work and efforts, and even much more time, so I made myself a daily program which I am respecting, and it really helped me do 600+ modreqs and handle the pressure you get when becoming staff: Whenever I am in-game the morning, my morning which is very late in USA and not many players are online, I gather resources, progress in building and developing my town -very slowly- I'm not in a rush; And whenever I'm here after noon, evening or midnight time (again my time) The whole USA is logged in, that's that where staff team needs another player and I try to be here helping with modreqs, issues, etc.. Sometimes I stay up late or literally pass sleepless nights when I can to provide more help.
I believe if I ever get mod this will help me solve more cases and by the occasion help the team gain more time and the players satisfaction when they don't have to wait for their issues to be fixed when a Helper like me is around doing nothing and another Mod have to deal with number of modreqs at a time, I think I'll be a good add to Mod's team.
I am not a person who loves rushing things, and weeks or maybe days ago I was telling myself that I'm not applying for Moderator any soon, because in my mind I wasn't ready yet. But now, I promise, I am more than determined to make it through.
What are your weaknesses? Becoming staff showed me more about my weaknesses, I am always so concerned about everything being done right that I can get stuck in that mentality of "If you want it done right, do it yourself.", this is what happens when I started building my Eiffel Tower I got offered help building from many people but I was always trying to explain that I have to do it myself, block by block, plot by plot. I also confirmed the fact that I'm a workaholic since I can play Meepcraft and solve modreqs straight for hours and stay up 2-3days no sleep because simply I forgot about time dimension when doing something I believe it's my job. Most of you wouldn't really know who I am if I stayed stuck to my time zone but I try to be more active when most of you are around and keep going with my real life stuffs when few players are here.
Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I think I said it before when I applied for helper, but I think it has even greatest value now if I ever become Moderator, my time zone has few helpers if none sometimes and zero Mods and I believe I can change this.
And to finish my application, I'd like to summarize it: Why did I apply for Mod? I feel ready for it, I want it, I'm determined to do it and I promise no one will ever regret seeing the French guy being promoted (except for rule violators).
I heard before that the reward for work well done is the opportunity to do more, I am doing my best now as a helper, and I am hoping to provide more as a Moderator. All I need is more ways and permissions to provide that help and guarantee the satisfaction, helping for me is a way of life, making others happy is a way to self happiness. why not, always looking forward to give more when you can?Videogames321, Pmx728, GroovyGrevous and 2 others like this. -
I have been nothing but impressed by you and your work. You constantly help out and stay involved, even if that means that you are staying up until 5am and are tired out of your mind. You are absolutely ready for mod.

You are always quick to jump in and help when ANYONE needs it. I feel like you took what you were taught and turned it into something much greater. You taught yourself so much and even helped others. I feel like some things you say are misinterpreted for being rude (maybe due to the different country?) but I personally have NEVER witnessed a rude moment. Personally, I feel like you are ready for Mod. You have nothing more to prove. +1
