I feel as though you aren't comfortable enough with most situations. Not too long ago, I had asked you to check out a case of theft done to me, and to be honest, you took way to long. I eventually gave in and practically did it for you, with you only taking the screenshots and me telling you step by step what to do. I also have a small issue with maturity at times, but its not something I'm overly concerned about.

The thing that I find weird is that you have a decent modreq count, but you dont get through them quickly. That led me to go investigate. You seem to be doing a lot of modreqs, but not always to the best of your ability. As a mod, you will be the one helping the helpers and if you cant even do it efficiently yourself, then you need more time to familiarize yourself with everything.

Your activity is decent from what I have seen, but I dont see you in shout as much as I would like. Work on getting more involved with community in game and not just doing modreqs. Your forums activity is amazing. You are always looking for ways to contribute positively to the situation. Your Teamspeak activity is good. I would like to see you talking to more then just a certain group though because it will help others to get to know you better.

Overall, I'm a -1, work on familiarizing what to do in certain situations where you havent already got the hang of it. Good luck!

Monkeyhead, you are a great "people person". It is really blatant that the community loves you. However, as others have stated above I think you need some more time as helper. I feel as if you're actively learning a lot every day, which is great. I just don't think you're fully ready to take on the position of Mod. You're not sure on some situations still, I would also recommend working on your maturity a bit.
-1 for me at the moment, but I think with a little more time you will be well off as a Moderator!

Monkey, I love you and all, but I'm gonna have to agree with these three. I honestly think you are a little inexperienced, and just need more time to get comfortable with the role of Helper before you take on Moderator.

Intro:

My name in Alexia, known in game as Monkey. I've been a helper for a month now. Outside of Minecraft, I like lots of things. A current hobby is sketching/painting. I use a bunch of artist pencils for sketching, and I paint with both watercolor and acrylic paint. I do Scottish dance (I even compete!) and Filipino martial arts. Inside Meepcraft, I love hanging out with everyone, from citizen to ultimate. Right now my favorite things are to look at the awesome creative builds, play KitPVP, or play around in towny. outside of Meep, I'm a little more immature then in game and on TS. I'm much more relaxed. But when it comes to getting things done, I try and get it on quickly and efficiently. I try to be even better in game!


Why should I be Mod?

I feel ready for mod. I know it's a little early, but I feel as if I can handle the position. I know better how modreqs work, and I want to try out for a bit more. I have enjoyed my time as helper so far, and getting on for those few hours is probably the highlight of my day. In game, in around an hour, I try for at least 10-20 modreqs. I help in shout as much and as soon as possible. I've gone for helper 3 times. Now that I have the rank, I feel accomplished, and almost proud of myself. Everything said aimed to staff, good or bad, matters heavily to me. Every gratz, every 'please help me,' every single thing. I try to be as involved as possible within the community. I'm on TS at least 2-6 hours a day, even when I'm not on Meep. As far as performance goes, I feel like I'm doing well. I've done over three hundred modreqs in a month alone. At night, when everything is slow and there's not a ton of people on, I enjoy going in PVP, but lots of people claim hacks and sometimes I really can't investigate simply because I'm quite vulnerable in Centrum/kitPVP. I wouldn’t mind going on to investigate some things like hacks and x-ray. I try to be very fair with my bans. I look at the history, the current offense, and the circumstances to determine a ban.


Weaknesses:

I'm a little slow when I do a kick/ban. I can be overly worried that I spelled the name wrong, even though it doesn't (currently) kick or ban if I spelled it wrong. I usually get it right, though.

Another is I can be a bit immature. If you browse my forum posts, you can see not all of them are very mature or well thought-out. Although when I do something silly, I'm just trying to have fun like I would even if I weren't staff.


Conclusion:

I love being helper. I really do! It's been fun doing modreqs and solving problems. I feel ready for the mod position and hope that you all think the same. For now, Happy Meeping, and thank you for reading!
