Idk where in the world you got your information from but its kind of humorous xD
I was against the restart. I thought of adding gamma because it was all we had left.
The team was split 50/50 on deleting a/b but I wanted to keep both forever. Never 1 time did I vote for deletion.
6 months? Can you link me? I was transferring meebles to make it an easy transition.
(Although I was 100% against it, if the vote cast to reset I would have no choice. But as mentioned, I was against it)
The server had no backups at the time because of a host change. Full console was trusted with the techs and they deleted all the files on the servers.
The latest backups were right when before gamma was up. We literally just readded gamma but we lost a/b and all towny/player data.
We have maps but all the permissions are gone. No one belongs to a town. no one had money. If we re implemented them they would all fall 1 day after opening.
This is simply untrue. We has all the plugins we were on up to date. The restart did not make this easier at all.
Your entire post is a slew of ignorance and assumptions. If youre going to make a presumption then please do yourself a favor and gather 1 ounce of evidence before looking like an ignorant fool.
Appreciate you letting me clear this up.

The disablement of villager breeding has always been something that has bothered me a bit. I mean, it makes sense in retrospect, but it has always given the feeling that everything on the server is nerfed, discouraging new players who are trying to build farms and such. With the changes of 1.11, villagers will become nonexistant, due to natural villagers despawning if the server has a temporary error (though I do not recollect any occuring during Gamma).
Villagers have always been a bit of a problem for economies, because of all the items they can spawn in. Thanks to 1.11, villagers are nerfed more, because of the spawners being limited, and the addition of nitwit villagers. By adding in these, even breeding is no assurance you will acquire a useful villager. Re-enabling breeding will open up a lot of possibilities for people to enjoy more of the original game without ruining the economy by having overloads of materials. Therefore, it will allow for players to construct larger facilities.
The more players can invest time into constructing facilities, the better, because it gives players purpose, and can balance things more by making it more profitable to play actual Towny than minigames. -
Villager breeding will not be coming back. hope that settles it.00000, funkyrainbows, Muunkee and 2 others like this. -

I also think you’re confusing “destroying the economy” with “lowering the value of an item.” As Imacutyou explained above, creating ebooks isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as it stimulates player-to-player economic transactions (god armor, ebooks themselves, etc.) Additionally, ebook making can revitalize god pvp, an aspect of the server that’s completely dead at the moment.
There will still be a demand for ebooks, because @KlutchDecals affirmed that /fix isn’t going to come back. Therefore, peoples’ god armor will still run out, and they’ll be forced to purchase new sets—we definitely won’t see the same stagnation we had before.
When you were “destroying the economy” with ebooks, you most likely sold god armor to elite+ people with /fix. With /fix, the market for god items (and by extension, god books) was very low—one set could last you months if you kept /fixing it and didn’t jump into pvp.
In short, there will always be a demand for god ebooks, and they’ll always have some base price. Therefore it’s not necessary that we nerf villager breeding.
Besides, when you make ebooks, all the transactions are player-to-player anyways, which gets money moving around the server. It’s not like you’re selling them to a server shop and bringing money into the economy out of thin air.

I would not have gone through the trouble of making gamma and fighting for legacy worlds to be kept (because i played in alpha) IOf I planned to reset. Also, If Fuzzlr did it, I would have told him to enjoi his server and left because theirs NO WAY IN **** I would sit there and let that happen. If you think Im that type of person that would let that slide, you know nothing about me.
If you want more information, you can always come chat on ts.

Emeralds are not very common to get, either.
Learn what you're talking about before you speak, and stop throwing around things such as blaming the entire server being deleted on an admin that's doing (from what I've gotten) the best he can ATM. Learn how to be respectful, and learn how to not go into a manlet rage whenever you're proven wrong, or whenever someone says something you don't agree with.00000, qazini, CluelessKlutz and 1 other person like this. -
If youre going to be disrespectful, Ill delete the entire convo.

2) If grinders (mob grinders) are allowed, then the book market is already poor. It's already a bad "market", since getting XP is incredibly easy. There's no reason to use that as a reason to -1 this if you don't understand how easily you can get level 30 (takes like 1 min in a decent grinder) books
3) You keep on saying "it'll destroy the economy". Do you really understand how it will, lol? yes, villagers introduce lots of "rare" (not even) items into the economy. How is this a horrible thing? How will this destroy an economy? The economy was not reliant on the "rare" items that can be gained from villagers in the first place. How can an economy get destroyed by items that weren't even that big of a portion to begin with?
Iron golem farms nerfed? even more? are you just stupid? Why would you nerf something that's already nerfed to the point of it not really being worth the time? Is THAT not destroying the economy?
I think you need to calm down, stop repeating yourself, and stop being so ridiculously hostile toward ANYONE who dares to disagree with youIFartOnChilren, Natsu, metr0n0me and 1 other person like this. -
1. They would probably lower the spawn rate by a bit.
2. Sure, even after that it would be a little OP, but the only way to spawn villagers was to either find a zombie spawner and wait for zombie villagers to spawn, then transport them away from the spawner and possibly other villagers to cure them (which, by the way, would take 800 meebles in golden ingots and an apple and a splash weakness potion) or, you could fork over a big amount of meebles for villager eggs (which you can only get if supreme+)
3. Now that the server is updating to 1.11 (I think), zombie villagers no longer spawn from zombie spawners. So now the only way to spawn villagers without villager breeding is to buy villager spawn eggs (which are very costly, as well as having to be supreme+ to buy)
So, after that, I think that we should enable villager breeding again, wether it is nerfed or not.
P.S. Yes, villagers are an infinite source of emeralds, but people can set their own prices via chestshop, and i'm pretty sure that the staff will not set an OP sell price for emeraldsmetr0n0me, smk, Natsu and 1 other person like this.
