Why meepcraft has now stalled.

Also, Ive already made threads about this. People are joining but they are not staying....figure out why they dont stay, and improve it.

 

Meep knew the EULA compliance issue was coming for a long time and "they" were warned. The blacklist was necessary and still is valid, however Mojang know that they aren't going to get any more money out of the Java edition, which is why they have probably gone down to limited support/development.

Maybe its time for Meep to move to more than just MineCraft...

 

In both the US and I assume in Canada discrimination based on race isn't allowed by private businesses.

I would play on a meepcraft terraria server tbh

 

I’d support a meepcraft PE server since that one is still growing strong

 

The issue isn’t that API has been this troubling to implement, just that the techs haven’t sat down and implemented it (haven’t had time in most cases)

 

As another staff pointed out, the fact that the blacklist was evaded and worked around automatically ensures Mojang will _never_ unblacklist this server.

The only real road out of the situation is remaking an entire new server, new name and possibly new owner for Mojang to consider.

Also right this second MeepCraft isn't "EULA compliant" because their EULA simply states to be compliant you need to be authorized by Mojang to run a server for profit. There is no other metric so since MeepCraft does not have such authorization -- It's not compliant.

 

Meep was warned and continue to operate the way it did. They dug their own grave they can lie in it too. Mojang literally has no reason to unblacklist meep and they shouldn't truth be told. If you were mojang and this server kept evading your rules would you unblacklist them?

 

Remember the april fools day post they did that one year where they said they got hit by the EULA?

Well, if they could care less, that means they care at least a little bit, because if you don't care at all, you can't care any less, so your statement wouldn't make any sense. I assume you meant "couldn't care less".
